The Port of San Francisco lies on the western edge of the San Francisco Bay near the Golden Gate. The port stretches across 7.5miles of coastline from Hyde Street Pier in the north to India Basin in the south. The port has 145 acres of paved cargo staging and over 550,000 sq.ft. of covered storage. It is unique in its ability to handle many types of cargo in an efficient and cost effective way, frequently handling rolling stock, project cargo, and breakbulk.
