How to import from Spain to the United States

iContainers offers Full Container Load (FCL) and Less-than-Container Load (LCL) services as well as airfreight from Spain to the United States. If you wish to ship FCL you may choose between a 20’, 40’ or 40’HC container. If shipping by LCL, when a full container is not needed, you will be shipping your goods in a shared container with other clients who are shipping to the same location. Both of these services can be provided when shipping cargo to Spain.

Major Spanish ports for containerized cargo include the ports of Valencia and Barcelona, which are located on the eastern coast of Spain as well as Bilbao in the north of Spain and Algeciras which is located on the strait of Gibraltar and is located only 11 miles from the African coast. With a highly developed rail and road infrastructure many of these ports also provide fast and affordable services to Madrid.

Major US ports include the ports of Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Charleston and Miami on the east coast as well as Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles on the West coast. Major southern ports include the Port of Houston and the Port of New Orleans.
