Are you preparing to move to Spain? Moving to another country comes with lots of planning and preparation, and figuring out what to do with your stuff is often a big part of that. So iContainers has compiled some tips to help you plan. By shipping your goods with IContainers, you can feel free to focus your energy on everything else.
How can you ship your stuff?
Depending on how much you are planning to ship, you can choose between our Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Than Container Load (LCL) shipment options. Items such as cars will require FCL shipping, while less spacious shipments can be shipped with LCL shipping. With iContainers you can also request door-to-door service from the United States to Spain. If you are moving your whole house, we can arrange to have a trucking company bring the container to your home and you can load it up there. Your other option is to bring the items you plan to ship to the steamship line’s warehouse yourself, assuming you have the means to do so.
How to prepare for your move?
When it comes to packing your items it will be helpful to label each box with a detailed label so that you know exactly what it is for when you move into your place in Spain. Be sure not to pack any items that you will need while your items are shipping!
How much will it cost to ship your stuff?
Costs will vary depending on your port of departure and port of arrival. For example, current costs of Shipping from Miami to Barcelona are:
• 20 Feet: $2,575
• 40 Feet $3,634
• 40 High Cube $3,142
• 1 CBM LCL : $344
