Shipping Container Security Seals

All containers transported by ship are required to have specific shipping container security seals to ensure that the container is closed and locked. This seal ensures the closure of the container at origin, and as it can only be removed once it insures that the container was not opened during the journey, before delivery to the customer.

ISO PAS17712 charter requires all containers to have a closure seal attached to the container to ensure it remains closed and blocks opening points.

In the pictures below you can see what the seals look like, and how it is applied to a container.
