Do you know how long it takes your shipment to reach Taiwan? If you don’t, it’s time to find out because there is a growing interest in Taiwan. So far in 2015, the exports to Taiwan have totaled $19.09 billion, and total imports from this Asian country are $30.9 billion.
There is a growing need for cooperation between the two countries. So get ready to learn more about US to Taiwan shipping times with the following infographic:
Taipei, Keelung, Taichung and Kaohsiung are the main ports in Taiwan. Your average shipping time between the US and Taiwan will be one to five days in the US, between 15 and 72 days on route (depending on your departure/arrival ports) and 3 to 4 days in Taiwan.
Be aware that if you are exporting to Taiwan, it might take at least two days longer, due to the customs clearance process. For example: if you need to ship something from Jacksonville to Taipei, it takes one day from Jacksonville, Florida to the Port of Miami. After that, it takes between 19 and 60 days in route and once it arrives at the port destination, it takes about 3-4 more days to reach its final destination. So keep in mind that in the best case scenario, your shipment will arrive within one month and in the worst case scenario, in two months.
