Container tracking helps you follow the reported milestones of an ocean-freight shipment. You can normally begin with the container number found on your shipping documents.

This 30-second guide explains how to find and follow your container’s reported shipping milestones.
Start with the container number shown on your shipping documents. Depending on the tracking provider, you may also be able to use a booking number or bill-of-lading reference.
Enter the accepted reference into the ocean carrier’s official tracker.
For supported shipments booked through iContainers, log in to your account, open My Shipments and select the relevant booking.
Review the latest confirmed event, event location and timestamp, estimated time of arrival, next expected milestone, and any schedule changes or exceptions.
Container tracking is usually based on carrier and operational events—not continuous container-level GPS.
ETAs are estimates and can change.
A vessel’s arrival also does not necessarily mean that your container has been discharged, cleared or made available for pickup.”
What to Check When Tracking a Container
Begin with the latest confirmed event and its reported location and timestamp. Then review the estimated arrival, next expected milestone and any schedule changes or exceptions.
For supported ocean and air shipments booked through iContainers, use iContainers Track & Trace or access the relevant booking through My Shipments.
