“In transit” means freight is progressing through the carrier’s transportation network after acceptance. The cargo may be moving or waiting between reported milestones. An unchanged status alone does not establish whether a shipment is delayed.

What Should You Check When Freight Is In Transit?
Start with the latest confirmed tracking event, including its description, location and timestamp. Check the next expected milestone and the latest estimated arrival. Confirm whether that estimate refers to a port, airport, terminal or final delivery address.
