Once you’ve chosen the best route and price for your shipment with iContainers, you’ll be taken to the next page where you’ll select additional ocean freight services.


These include Bill of Lading courier services, packing list completion, among others.

These optional services vary according to the origin and destination countries of the shipment. Here’s a detailed look at each of the services.


  • Bill of Lading courier (international): The Bill of Lading is a document that the exporter sends to the importer. It confirms that the cargo has been loaded and shipped on board a shipping carrier. This optional service includes mailing the complete set of three original copies by international courier to your specified destination.


  • Bill of Lading courier (national): The Bill of Lading is a document that the exporter sends to the importer. It confirms that the cargo has been loaded and shipped on board a shipping carrier. This optional service includes mailing the complete set of three original copies by courier to anywhere within the country.


  • Packing List completion*: The packing list details all information pertaining to your cargo. This includes the number of packages, their contents and weight. For international moves, this is akin to an affidavit. Should you opt for this optional service, iContainers will handle the completion of your packing list.



*This service is only available for shipments originating from the US.


  • Title validation: A US customs validation of the original vehicle title is required for exporting vehicles from the US. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the Title Validation for exported vehicles. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of the cargo in and out of the country.
  • Certificate of origin: This document is required to export to certain countries who have preferential trade agreements. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the Certificate of Origin for related goods. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of the cargo in and out of the country.
  • SED (Shipper’s Export Declaration): The SED form is required for nearly all US exports and serves as a regulatory document. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the SED for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of the cargo in and out of the US.
  • Customs clearance: This optional customs clearance service involves the processing of the Single Administrative Document (SAD) form, an administrative document. It’s submitted to relevant customs authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
  • Health certificate: This optional service involves the processing of a health certificate for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
  • Veterinary certificate: This optional service involves the processing of a veterinary certificate for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
  • Issuance of SOIVRE certificate: The SOIVRE certificate is a control and inspection certificate that ensures quality compliance. It’s mainly issued for products intended for human use. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the SOIVRE certificate for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
  • EUR 1 certificate: The EUR 1 certificate is a document that grants tariff reductions for non-EU countries with preferential trade agreement with the EU. You can consult the list of countries here. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the SOIVRE certificate for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
  • Phytosanitary certificate: The phytosanitary certificate pertains to controlling pests from plant-related goods. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the phytosanitary certificate for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
  • Customs clearance and ISF 10+2: The Import Security Filing 10+2 is needed for customs clearance in the US. Should you opt for this service, iContainers will handle the processing of the phytosanitary certificate for goods, where required. It’s submitted to relevant authorities to permit the entry or exit of goods in and out of the country.
